Be spell bound by the beauty of Spain ! ! !
An important group of Spanish companies, representing all of the beauty industry divisions, will be present at COSMOPROF Bologna 2007.
More than a hundred of the most prestigious Spanish companies in the beauty industry, whose participation is coordinated by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), will show their new product ranges to the Italian and international visitors.
Spain is one of the world's most influential exporters of beauty products and, over the past decade, has always been a major contributor to the boom of the global professional beauty industry.
The European Union is the main external market for the Spanish beauty enterprises, representing 77% of the total beauty export.
In 2005, the Spanish beauty market reached 4.446 million Euros and global exports accounted for 1.405 million Euros, representing an increase of 13,1% compared to the previous year. The main sub-sectors in the Spanish beauty market were Skin Care (25,9%), Perfumes and Fragrances (23,3%), and Hair Care (22,9%). Toiletries (19,6%), and Cosmetics (8,3%) showed also good shape, and prospects for 2006 are even better.
